Where you install the job often matters more than the structure type: Jita index is ~19% vs ~0.1–1% in a quiet system nearby. You pick the system by hand — its cost index shows right in the dropdown next to each system. The calculator shows profit for both sale modes — sell order and dumping into buy orders.

EIV (Estimated Item Value)

Estimated job value: base material quantities × CCP adjusted prices. Install fee base; your ME does not reduce it.

Job installation fee: EIV × (system cost index − structure bonus + facility tax + 4% SCC surcharge).

Build-or-buy

Per-component decision: build from materials or buy off the market. Reactions are a separate leg and only run in 0.4-security systems and below.
